Weddings and events

Travel on the day that nobody has to think about.

One vehicle held for the hours you need, on a timetable written down in advance.

Wedding travel goes wrong in a small number of predictable ways. The car arrives at the wrong door. The driver has not seen the venue. Nobody planned how the bridesmaids get from the house to the church, or how the grandparents get back at half past eleven at night. Every one of those is a planning failure rather than a driving failure.

So the work starts before the day. We agree a written timetable with addresses, times and the name of the person to call at each stop. Marius drives the route beforehand where the venue is unfamiliar, which on the Dorset coast usually means checking access at a farm barn or a clifftop hotel with one narrow lane in.

On the day the vehicle is held for your hours alone. It carries seven, which covers the couple and the immediate family in one movement, or a full set of bridesmaids with dresses that need hanging rather than folding. Between journeys the car waits nearby rather than taking other work.

The same approach suits corporate travel, race days, anniversary dinners and airport runs for visiting clients. If several people need to arrive together, on time, without anyone driving home afterwards, this is the vehicle for it.

Questions we are asked

Do you decorate the vehicle

The V-Class is left plain. A simple ribbon can be fitted if you supply it, but the car is meant to be quiet rather than part of the photographs.

How is a wedding day priced

By the hours the vehicle is held rather than by the mile, because a wedding day is a series of short journeys with long gaps. You are given one figure for the whole day before you book.

Can you do more than one trip on the day

Yes. A common pattern is the couple to the ceremony, close family to the reception and then a late run home for parents or older guests. All of it is agreed on a written timetable.
